    Hello, I have a simple goal and I see that EDD has many more functions, such as a shop function and a checkout, which I don’t actually need.

    I want to send my newsletter subscribers an individual download link in their welcome email that entitles them to exactly 2 downloads of a PDF file and then becomes invalid.

    Can I do this somehow with EDD?

    Hi there!

    EDD might be an overkill for that. You perhaps can do it just via your newsletter provider if you have one (Mailchimp, Convertkit, etc).
