Free delivery but conf. email says otherwise.

I’m offering free delivery for 30€+ orders and say a customer orders products for 35€. They do get free delivery and pay only 35€ form their bank/card account.
But the order confirmation email that goes to the customer sometimes says they paid an extra 4.90 for delivery with a total of 39,90 (even tho they paid 35) – this creates confusion and some customers think they were overcharged.
What might be causing this issue in the emails and how could I fix it so correct total sum would be displayed?
