SOLVED-FRAUD, they offer free api key and it’s a lie

  • Fixed, now it can be translated automatically, grateful, this plugin is fabulous, it saves us a lot of time, THANK YOU.
    Download the plugin because in the publication it says that it can be used with a free api key, but when you enter to request it, a message appears that there is no longer a free api key and you have to pay, and they still keep the message in the advertising of the plugin, They should block these people.

    Hi,

    Yandex has stopped providing free API keys from June 01, 2020. They have deprecated their translate API v1. So if a user already has pre-generated Yandex Translate API v1 key then he can use it free currently otherwise new users can not generate a new free API key.
    Nothing fraud here from the plugin developer side, in-fact we were working on our plugin update after receiving this API-update notification from the Yandex API side. Now we have added 1 more free translate API support in version 1.8+, We will also remove Yandex API support completely from plugin in upcoming updates.

    I see that there are a lot of positive reviews, that’s why I downloaded the addon and used the instructions (https://locoaddon.com/how-to-generate-ibm-watson-translator-api-key/). Unfortunately, I couldn’t use automatic translation through the IBM Watson Translator API. Already during testing it gives a 404 error. I’m upset.

    The developer has updated the version and now everything works for free and quickly. Super.

    Hola, gracias por su post, con la alternativa de IBM funciona, pero mi queja no era si funciona o no, mi queja fue porque en la publicación decía que había una alternativa de uso gratuita y después de descargar el plugin, al momento de solicitar el API key, el mensaje que aparecía es que ya no estaba la API key gratuita.
    Pero igual,lo solucionaron y eso es lo que vale, felicitaciones, pude usarla y funciona, GRACIAS.
