Fourteen Extended with twentyfourteen-child

  • Hello,

    I’ve uploaded a Twenty Fourteen child theme, changing only the style.css, footer.php, and header.php files.

    With this child theme activated, the Fourteen Extended options do not appear in the “Customize” interface under “Appearance”.

    Is there a way I can use Fourteen Extended with my child theme? If not, do you have any suggestions?

    Hello Mark,

    That’s a bit odd – the plugin is designed to detect if the “template” is twentyfourteen and has worked with both the default and the child theme’s I’ve tested with thus far.

    Could I ask you to open a thread here: https://wpdefault.com/forums/forum/child-themes/ so that we can exchange code/files and see what I can do to help you resolve the issue?
