I have found that Yoast Premium SEO plugin is causing the issue with the login page/shortcode for this plugin. I am disappointed by this news because I need this plugin and am considering purchasing the upgraded version so that I can use Stripe but I cannot get rid of Yoast, it’s too important.

If you are able to come up with a fix for this then I’ll gladly keep the plugin (and others will not have this problem in the future), if not then I have to find another membership plugin that is similar but works with my SEO plugin.

    Thank you!

    Hello @usmcviking,

I’ve tested this but I cannot reproduce the issue. Have you confirmed that your website is not working only with PMS and Yoast active ?

I strongly suggest that there’s something else causing this. Refer to the message in my other thread as well.

    Regards.

I am not sure why you are unable to recreate the issue, it is still occurring. . .

The very top menu on the right side of my website that reads. “Registration, User Profile, Login”… when you click “login” the browser will flip bac and fourth between two URLs (www.betterbusinesssource.com/login) & (www.betterbusinesssource.com/wp-login-php) about 15 times until Safari browser times out and says “unable to load page due to too many redirects”.

Registration & User Profile links both work just fine with the shortcodes.

The only issue with Login and when I deactivate Yoast then the login link works.

    Hello @usmcviking,

I never said I cannot do this on your website, it works as you explained it.
I was saying that I cannot reproduce the issue on my machine so it is most likely not caused by PMS + Yoast, there’s another variable here.

Please open a ticket on our website so we can investigate this further.

    Regards.

I have two websites using Yoast and Georgian’s plugin. No conflict at all. Must be another plugin causing this or the theme.

That’s strange because I also have two websites and I tried the membership restriction plugin along with Yoast Premium on my other website and the same issue occurred. Perhaps you have Yoast Local or another version of Yoast, which do in fact work fine with the plugin.

Gregorian, I will open a ticket. Hopefully, it will be able to be resolved because I would like to use your plugin. If not, of course, I’ll have to find another one.

    Hello,

The user has redirects from /login to wp-login and from wp-login to /login setup in Yoast SEO, thus making the page loop around.

    Regards.
