    explaination to the issue

    Hi,

I just tried your plugin on my own site having a categories as a navigation with sub categories. It works on a parent category with a single child category having some grand children categories.

It doesn’t work on a parent category with more than one child category having some grand children categories. The image above explains the scenario.

Try for your self and visit the site https://kids.com.ph click on the first navigation [Getting To Know Their Body] and it shows the sub categories.

Click on the second category [Feelings & Emotions] and it doesn’t show the sub categories and its grand child category.

By the way the widget display just below advertise with us widget. Hope I explain the bug well.

If the post has more than one category assigned to it then the plugin takes only the first category as the parent to choose which children to show (using the terms from your diagram – only one set of sub sub categories is displayed from the first sub category if there is more than one).

This means that if the chosen parent has in fact no children the plugin will not be shown even if the other (not chosen) parents have children.

This is not a bug as this plugin is designed to work with only one category on the post and so if there is more than one the first is used. It is not designed to work with multiple parents.
