    Hi there!
I configured the plugin and it works great!
With mails that come from my domain to another mail-adress (thats not linked to my domain) it shows a forwarded-symbol. Before installing the plugin, the mails weren’t linked as forwarded. (I can see that with the arrow that points to the right in thunderbird)

Is this something that I should change?

    Best regards and thank you!!

    Hi @thalakus,

Thanks for reaching out! That is rather odd because WP Mail SMTP does not forward emails. Instead, it connects to a mailing service and the service sends them out as a new email.

Can you let us know which mailer you are using? Also, try disabling WP Mail SMTP and send a test email to see if the icon keeps coming up.

    Thanks!

    Hello there,
thanks for the super fast response!
I might have found the reason:
The arrow is just indicating that this is the person to which it’s sent.
And in the Mail header the forwarding might have come due to the contact form 7 that sends one message directly to me and one copy to the customer. Maybe that is the forwarding.

Since it works fine, I think I better don’t try to fix something that’s not broken ??

    I thank you very much!!
    Have a great weekend!
