Forum structure disappeared after database cleanup

    After I used a plugin to repair the database, the whole forum structure disappeared, however, all the individual topics are still there. I could re-create the forum structure but it is no longer connected to the existing topics. Any suggestion how I can connect the structure and the topics? BTW, for some reason, WP phpMyAdmin does not work for me so I am having problem accessing the database for changes.

    I managed to install WP Data Acess and is able to look into the three tables:
    wp_forum_posts
    wp_forum_topics
    wp_forum_forums

    I managed to import table wp_forum_forums from the backup. The manually entered structure disappeared with the message “In this category are no forums yet!”. Is there anything I need to do to rebuild the structure?

    OK. Just figured out I have to update the Parent ID as that had changed. It’s working now … thanks

    Could you please share what you did to solve the problem?
    I have exactly the same problem and unfortunately i am technically not so skilled.

    Can you let me know how you cleaned-up your database? Did you use some WordPress-plugin for it?
