• First, is this project abandoned? Your web page seems to be completely non-functional.

On the off-chance that it isn’t, I wanted to check an issue reported by-one of our users, who found out that his browser froze whenever he tried to make a forum post. After a bit of trial and error I found that it was because it contained the following string.

“Big data: the end of the scientific method?”

Turns out that you can’t post to a Symposium Pro forum if the post contains the *word* ‘data’ followed by a colon (with an optional space in between). That is ‘data:’ or ‘data :’ in your post will cause the process to hang when you click ‘Submit’ (but e.g. ‘ddata:’ will not).

    Repeatable across multiple browsers.

Any idea if and how this can be fixed?

    Thanks

Mike, you have the pro version of WPS and need to post to the forums on our site not here, as far as I know, no one else has reported this as an issue.
Have you uses your browser’s inspector to see what the errors are.

Are all your plugins up to date. Oh yes, what version of PHP are you y=using as well?

    Good reply.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
