Forum Plugin

I have been searching high and low and have not found what I’m looking for yet.

What I’d like is a plugin that, when I post an article, would create an excerpt of that article in my forums (vBulletin). I see a lot of bridge plugins, but, unless I’m not understanding what they do, I don’t want to fully integrate the forum and website.
