Forum Plugin

  • Hi, would anyone know of a really good forum plug-in that includes different language features? ie. Arabic, French, German etc.

    Yes, actually I’ve tried wp-fourm plug-in but just found out its not compatible for wordpress version 2.7. I’m looking for a plug-in or any forum that’ll work alongside wordpress ie. PHP-bb or SMF? Any suggestions?

    Adding a forum would be outside the scope of a plugin, but there are standalone options.

    This support forum is powered by bbPress, which is another open source project by the clever folks behind WordPress!

    Development wise, it is not quite as far along as WordPress, but bbPress is still being developed quickly, and it is your best bet for forum software that will work well with WordPress.

    Thank you jleuze. Me too! But I can’t explain why… I just used the WP plugin installation for bbPress. THEN read the directions.

    Got the message that the “plugin” was successfully installed. Woops. Now looking at the files on my server to try to undo any damage.

    But maybe there is no damage.

    Do I need to worry about this?
