has suddenly stopped working. When I view the mysql data in Navicat there is an error. “Can’t open file ‘example.’ (errno. 1)”

Then after I click ok it sais… “‘example’ does not have a primary key. Updates to this table will be done with the following pseudo statement: Update ‘example’ SET “ModifiedFieldAndValues” where “AllFieldsAndOldValues” LIMIT 1″..

    ‘example’ could be wp_posts…

I just ran a disk defrag and disk cleanup and this is happening… not sure why tho…

    Please help… thx.

    That link reports:

“It doesn’t look like you’ve installed WP yet. Try running install.php.”

It has already been installed… it’s just saying that..

Try installing it again in that case ..

    Any other option?

WordPress is reporting that it has not been installed, so it must have not been installed. Try running the install.php file again.

I suppose that you could also check the MySQL database to see if any WordPress tables have been created. If they have been, then the problem could be due to using the @ symbol as your directory name.

That’s not the problem. I had the site running for a couple months. I had around 10 entries. The tables got messed up after a disk defrag and cleanup. I never touched the mysql folders on the server but it just stopped working showing the error “not installed” even though I had 10 entries into my blog and it was already setup.

Well, are there any WordPress tables in the MySQL database? Can you restore from a backup copy?
