Forum in WordPress without forum plugin

  • Hey everyone,

    I was thinking to make a forum with WordPress without any plugin so you have 100% compability of your website.

    I was thinking of users can login and publish a post (this would be the forum topic) and then other users can react on that with a commment. The users can place their questions and discussions in categories so the forum will be clear and not on big mess.

    Besides that only the administrator can makes sticky posts on a forum.

    Do you think this is all possible?

    I am a young web developer (17 years old) from The Netherlands, but I can make good WordPress Themes, even in february I will publish my first WordPress theme on ThemeForest.
