Love bb Style Pack! Hoping you can help with this:

I have set the forum Display Option #1 – ticked the box to make the subforum list vertical instead of horizontal, but the list stays horizontal. I’ve tried ticking it, unticking and reticking it, clearing my cache, checking in different browsers… can’t get it to move.

See attached: the bbStylePack admin https://includes/bbsp-admin.PNG
and a screenshot of the vertical https://myapha.org/includes/screenshot.PNG

Can you help? Thanks so much.

    ok, can you go to

    Dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>plugin information

and if you look under variable you will see a row labelled bsp_forum_display

can you copy/paste that link please so that I can see if it is a setting issue

    eg

    bsp_forum_display a:7:{s:10:”forum_list”;s:1:”1″;s:11:”hide_counts”;s:1:”1″;s:14:”move_subscribe”;s:1:”1″;s:16:”create_new_topic”;s:1:”1″;s:28:”Create New Topic Description”;s:12:”topoccchchch”;s:29:”add_subforum_list_description”;s:1:”1″;s:9:”thumbnail”;s:1:”1″;}

ok, so it is set correctly in the database.

I don’t think it is your theme, Karma, as I have used that one and it works on my test site.

    It maybe a plugin issue.

so can you go back to

    Dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>plugin information

and can you copy/paste the list of active plugins

    Thanks

ok try deactivating bbP Toolkit and see if that fixes it – you can re-enable it afterwards – just want to see if it is affecting the display

    Thread Starter AnitaSmithers

    (@anitasmithers)

yes! That did it. I deactivated Toolkit and the subforums are now vertical.

The only thing I use bpToolkit for is to replace the “oh bother!” wording – and I can live without that change.

Thanks Robin! I truly appreciate your help.
