    Hi slaFFik
I’m new to BuddyPress, but this looks to be a great plugin!
I’ve created a few forums successfully, and then imported your data OK, but I see this message (screenshot):

Note: You can’t import anything forums-related, because Forum Component is not installed correctly. Please recheck your settings.

I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong. Can you help?
EDIT: whoops! I’ve just seen the same message on the main plugin details page (here) – does that mean this message is nothing to worry about?
    Thanks, and best wishes.

    Hi,

It means that BuddyPress component called Forums is not installed and/or configured correctly.
If you don’t need it – no problems. BP Default Data won’t break things for you, it just follows and allows to import of what is available for it from BuddyPress plugin itself.

    Wow! Quick reply, thanks. ??
But my BuddyPress installation and setup seems OK. Anything I should check?
I was hoping for some actual forum posts in the dummy data with this plugin – can it do that, too?

I’m dealing with this also how exactly do I need to setup BBPress and BuddyPress to get forum content for testing?

I have BBpress installed. I get the same notice. How does the forum need to be configured so that the demo data gets added to the forums?

    please advise.

    Thanks
