• Hello everyone. I am new to wordpress so i do not know its capabilities. So I was wondering if I would be able to use wordpress to create a forum for my website. Thank you very much for helping me on this topic. My website is https://www.kingdomofwords.com

  • not really – wordpress isn’t a forum package.

There are many excellent forum packages out there, which also allow you to pull posts from a particular forum and display them in blog format, so you can have your cake and eat it too.

hi there, yes, you can always have a forum with your site.
Apart from wordpress there is also the sister system bbpressss,
A great forum. Which version of wordpress are you using? Your site looks interesting. The great thing I’ve found is that te two systems work very well together, sharing the same database, and even can share user info, so any registered members can log into both systems
    Check it out at

hope it goes well for you
    Mike.

And how about this prospect. It integrates WP into the front end while using PHPBB on the backend. Kind of the way TinyPortal functions with Simple Machines Forum.

Also to expand on what Mikey said about BBPress, there is a nice plugin that actually lets your WP posts become Forum topics and places a link to the post in WP [Discuss in the forum]. That’s kind of nice. And the setup is easy, it walks you through setting both up whether you have separate or shared databases.
