When accessing the contact form with Stripe payment on iOS, the Stripe payment field does not appear. This also happens intermittently on Safari desktop.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @tomgreenfield

I hope you’re well today and thank you for contacting us!

I noticed that there are two forms on that page, located inside some sort of “accordion tabs”. Could you try two things, please?

    1. Forms have the “Load form using AJAX” option in their “Behavior” settings. Please try switching that switch to opposite as it is now and after saving new settings, make sure to purge all cache on site/server (if there is any in use).

    2. If above doesn’t change anything, please put the form (one with Stripe payment), on some separate test page (just create a new page on site), without any tabs and check if it’s working there.

That second step is for troubleshooting only – I’m not suggesting it as a solution but rather to determine if the way those accordion tabs are working may possibly be affecting form scripts.

Please test it and let us know about results and we’ll then see what to do next to get the issue fully diagnosed and fixed.

    Best regards,
    Adam

Thanks Adam, the pages are using the built-in WordPress block called:

    “Details
    Hide and show additional content.”

I guess this uses Ajax under the hood, but the only adjustable settings for the block in the WordPress sidebar is an “Open by default” toggle switch.

I created a test page without the “Details” block here:

The Stripe payment field shows up on my iOS device for this test page.

    Hi @tomgreenfield

I was able to replicate this issue on my lab site and it seems this issue affects Firefox on Windows, and Firefox/Safari on iOS. On both platforms it works ok when you use Chrome.

I reported this to our Forminator Team as a bug. As for now we can only suggest to remove form from “Details” block in Gutenberg.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
