    Hey @marciomuniz,

Thank you for reaching out! From what I see, the issue may be with the translation plugin you’re using.

It seems like the translation plugin translates some strings that should not be translated. For example, in the affiliate registration form, in the field’s HTML, the required “name” attribute is “first_Nome”, instead of “first_name”. Please check this following image for reference: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gdagntpwq8cz736/Screenshot%202022-07-19%20at%2012.26.37.png?dl=0

Because the “first_name” is translated, SliceWP fails to process the registration request, as it searches for “first_name”, which is not available anymore as it is translated.

Unfortunately, this issue is a bit technical and I have already contacted the TranslatePress plugin developers for more information. In the meantime, can you please temporarily deactivate TranslatePress or switch to English and try again the affiliate registration? In theory, it should work. Please try it out and let me know if it works this way.

    Thank you and best wishes,
    Mihai

    Hey @marciomuniz,

I just wanted to let you know that we’ve found the issue thanks to the developers behind TranslatePress. The issue is from SliceWP. We will be releasing an update this following couple of days with a fix for the problem.

Thank you for reporting the issue and I’m really sorry for the inconvenience this bug created. As soon as the plugin update is released, everything should work nicely.

    Best wishes,
    Mihai

    Hello @iovamihai

I also have a problem with the form. It tells to add a URL, but it doesn’t accept any URL. Therefore it is impossible to complete the registration.

    Page is: https://www.beautybic.fi/en/ryhdy-brandilahettilaaksi-beautybic/affiliate-haku/

    Hey @virpim,

Thank you for reaching out! I’m guessing you’re referring to the URL of the “Website” field. If so, please note that URLs added in this field need to be valid. For example, “awebsite.com” or “www.awebsite.com” are not valid.

However, “https://awebsite.com/” or “https://www.awebsite.com/” are valid.

Please try again using the above values and let me know how it goes.

    Thank you and best wishes,
    Mihai

Thank you @iova.mihai. I noticed it is working now when adding the https://

But jhow can I add extra information to the form, that https need to be included? It is not clear at all to the customers, and we received several complaints that the form is not working. I think it would be good ux if you accept www-versions as well.

We also asked for first name and surname in the form beforehand but now I noticed it disappeared from the form while I tried to solve this. How can I add them to the form?

    Hey @virpim,

I believe that the first name and last name fields have disappeared because you’ve visited the form while being logged in. Please check the form while logged out.

When you are logged in, the first name, last name, username and email fields will not show up as the user already has an account, thus the fields are redundant.

As far as the website field goes, currently, with our core free version of the plugin there’s nothing much that can be done.

We do have a solution with our pro version, however, I cannot offer any details here, as these forums are meant only for the core free version.

Please contact us privately (here: https://slicewp.com/contact/) and I’ll get back to you with more details as soon as possible.

    Thank you and best wishes,
    Mihai
