    Hello there!

Sorry to hear that you faced such an issue, but will it be possible to clarify which Forms Block you’re referring to? The thing is that there’s no such block that’s provided by our Getwid plugin.

I was referring to the Contact Form block.
The block can be entered into post, but when entering it in a widget it produces the error mentioned above.

    Hello @mahyulan!

I hope you’re doing well! Sorry for the late response.
I would like to inform you that I double-checked everything out and haven’t noticed any issues with adding the Contact Form block as a widget in the footer. I even tried different themes. So make sure to use the latest version of the plugin and in case you still have the same issue, try switching your theme or provide steps to reproduce the issue locally.

Meanwhile I noticed that Gutenberg get’s confused if I change the language of the administrator (although the site language stays the same).
Then the blocks seems to be corrupted and had to be rebuild.
That works, but surprises me as the blocks are meant to be in the site language and the admin language should not have influence on that.

    Hello there!

If you’re still referring to the Contact Form block from our Getwid plugin, then I would like to inform you that I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my side. Locally, no matter which language I select for an admin, the block doesn’t get corrupted. So I would like to clarify if you’re referring to blocks from our plugin or Gutenberg’s blocks.

    The problem still occurs.
I am using Astra Pro theme with 4 footer widgets.
When I am going to Appearance > Widgets, the one with the contact form is corrupt and can be correcte by the orange button.

    Hello there!

Sorry to disappoint you, but I can’t check everything out with this theme. So I would like to ask you to try switching to one of the default WordPress themes and let me know if you still have the same issue. Thank you.

    Hello Eugene,

    No it is not solved.
There are more than 1 million installs of the Astra theme, so I hoped it would be compatible with Getwid.
I will contact the Astra theme as well.

    Hello there.

So I assume you’ve checked this out with other themes and confirmed that the Contact Form block doesn’t work as a widget with the Astra theme only. Is that correct?

    Hello Eugene,

No I haven’t tested with another theme, because I don’t know which other theme supports several footer widgets.

    Hello there.

I believe that it’s not very important how many footer widgets the theme has. You may try pretty much any theme that has at least one footer widget just to check whether you’ll have the same issue with this block or not.

And as mentioned previously, locally it seems to work perfectly well, so I think there’s a high chance that there’s some compatibility issue with the Astra theme.
