    Hi,
Love the Forminator plugin. But when I checked the reports for the form, I can see that it has 16241 views and 78 submissions. I am sure the views are not accurate because the page with the form only has 1220 views in the last month. The form submissions are accurate because I get the email with the latest form entry number but what could be the reason for the views number being so high?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi @urusha

I hope you are doing well.

Are the 1220 views based on Google Analytics?

Note that the Forminator views don’t work as Google Analytics or other tools that will skip the returning visitors or known bots, it would count all the requests done in the form page.

    Best Regards

    Hi @wpmudevsupport12 ,

    Thanks for your response!

Yes, the views are from Google. It still seems very high as I have used the Hustle plugin and inserted the form as a popup. When I check the views of the popup, again, it only has 170 views. So do you think it’s just bots? How can the popup have that low views if the form was requested that many times?

    Hi @urusha,

Could you please verify if the form has been used somewhere else on the website?

Since the site URL was not provided, I wasn’t able to take a closer look at this. Would it be possible for you to share the website URL so that we can take a closer look?

We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Nebu,

No. I added the form to another page prior to this one to test but already deleted it and the form views are high even after I have deleted the page. Here’s the URL of the page: https://nipost.org/toronto-rent-bank/

The form can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Check Your Eligibility’ near the end.

    Thank you for your help!

    Urusha.

    Hello Urusha,

Thank you for providing more details.

After reviewing the page, and testing the same setup on my lab site, I’ve replicated the issue with the views. Currently Forminator seems to count page visits, even if the form hasn’t been actually viewed in the popup.

We have forwarded all the info to the developers, in order for them to check if this can be improved in future versions. We can’t provide ETA though, I’m afraid.

For now, you can check the pop-up views in Hustle instead of the form views, as a workaround.

    Best Regards,
    Dmytro
