Hello,Hope you guys are doing well! I have created a payment form on my website using Forminator plugin. I have different packages to offer, that’s why I created different plans on the Stripe field but they are NOT showing on the form. It only shows the credentials field for your debit/credit card, but I want my clients to see before hand what packages I am offering so they can choose between them.?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi @klejdi01,

I hope you are doing well today!

To display the different packages and allow your clients to choose between them, you need to add a Radio Button or Dropdown field to your Forminator form. Follow these steps:

    • In your WordPress dashboard, go to Forminator > Forms.
    • Find your payment form and click on “Edit”.
    • Click on the “+” button to add a new field.
    • Select the “Radio Buttons” field or the “Dropdown” field, depending on which type of selection you prefer.
In the field settings, add the package names and their respective prices as the field’s options.
    • Save the field settings by clicking “Apply”.
    • In the Stripe field settings, set the payment amount to “Variable” by selecting “Variable Amount – Select the field containing the amount” under “Payment Amount”.
From the dropdown menu, select the field (Radio Buttons or Dropdown) you just created with the package options.
    • Save the Stripe field settings by clicking “Apply”.
    • Save the entire form by clicking “Update”.

Now when your clients visit the payment form, they will see the available packages, and can choose between them before entering their payment information. Make sure to test the form to confirm that the Stripe payment is processing correctly for each selected package.

Please let us know if you need further help on this.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi @klejdi01

Yes, the “select” field can be used for this too and yes – it’d be the same as with “Radio” field – the choice will just “look different” (it’ll be drop-down list instead of classic “radio button” choice).

    Best regards,
    Adam

Thank you for your response Adam! I need help with one more thing. I want to add a discount code for the packages I am offering. I tried several ways but I didn’t manage to do it. Is it possible to add a coupon code with Forminator ?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi @klejdi01

There are no “coupon codes” but it may be possible to achieve something similar with the use of additional fields (like input or select, together with calculation-type field).

However, we’d need to know exactly how this should work in terms of discounts.

Also note please that that could only handle either finite number of defined codes or codes that would “follow structure” (e.g. all codes with 5% discount should contain certain string – same for all codes). It also will not be able to invalidate any codes.

IF that’s fine, please let us know how those discounts should be applied and calculated and we’ll suggest how form could be configured for this.

    Best regrads,
    Adam

Basically when a client will type “discount” in a input field, the default value on the Total field should be reduced automatically. For different codes, there should be different discounts. I hope I was clear. Thank you!

    Hi @klejdi01,

Can you please share an export of the form so that we could help you better? Please use a service like pastebin.com to share the export of the form.

I hope the following guide comes in handy: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John
