Forminator Stops Submitting Consistently

    Hi There,

    I have a form that stops submitting every single time there’s an update out for Forminator. I’m trying to convince my client that it’s a good idea to pay for this plugin, but it’s a really hard sell when the plugin stops working once every two weeks. I am not caching this particular page.

    By “stops submitting every single time there’s an update out for Forminator” you mean you cannot see submissions in the dashboard or email notifications are not going through?

    Hi Kris,

    Thank you for getting back to me! I’m good, and I hope you are good, too!!

    Any time there are Forminator updates, the form stops submitting, meaning that the form just spins and spins for customers after hitting the submit button. I haven’t been able to reproduce this to give you an error code from the console, but it usually coincides with a Forminator update. No one has mentioned an error, so I don’t think the form itself is throwing an error.

    I have checked your form and I could actually see that it has some errors in the console, including some report about the captcha as well.

    And while the form worked for me, it’s possible that combination of these errors and some caching or browser settings of your clients is triggering the issue and stopping the form from being submitted.

    Could you try disabling file minification for this page and see if the issue is gone after that?

    Double check captcha settings and make sure that API keys are correctly entered.

    Check if you can resolve other console errors because if there’s one script broken on the page it can stop others from working properly as well and that can be what’s stopping the submission.
