    Hi guys,

We’ve setup an admin menu for a user however when they try and access a Forminator form they get a “Your not allowed to access this page” message even though Forminator is available to them.

    Any thoughts

    Hi @webdesignkilkenny,

In the free version of the plugin, we don’t provide a 100% guarantee it will work with all 3rd party plugins. If you would like better compatibility with Forminator, I would recommend getting the pro version: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/custom-admin-interface-pro/ send me an email and I will see what I can do to make it work (otherwise you can get your money back).

If you want to continue with the free version, you will need to troubleshoot this yourself. Firstly check to make sure that the users have the correct permissions to access the settings page. You might need to use the User Role Editor plugin (free) to give the users more power to access the settings page. If this is not the issue, the issue might have to do with the URL. You can try comparing the original menu link with the menu link output by our plugin and compare the differences. You might then be able to create a custom menu link which goes to the right URL and then hide the original menu item.

As I said if you want a more seamless experience, the pro version might be worth it, and I have done several customisations to the pro version to work with a range of 3rd party plugins, but I can’t make it work for every plugin out of the box as some of these plugins are doing funky things and there’s gazillions of different plugins and I can’t do everything unfortunately. Thanks,

    Hi @webdesignkilkenny,

Wow that’s great. The pro version is a complete re-write of the free version so that coupled with changes done for specific plugins might have sorted it. Thanks ??
