Forminator not sending any emails

Sorry to hear that you’ve experienced this issue!

From the description it seems that you’ve done a lot of debugging so far so it’s very odd that none of the tests have brought any light to the issue you’re having. Generally, those steps would be what we’d recommend in that case.

I’ll have some additional questions so we can better understand what’s going on:

• are you using any kind of SMTP plugin to send the emails from your site or just the standard WordPress/server-side email facility?
• does deactivating all plugins except Forminator help in any way?
• were there any updates made on the site recently that would coincide with the issue starting?
• have you checked the settings on the form for email notifications in case there’s something not correct there?

Please let us know and hopefully we will be able to advise you further on this issue.

Hi,

1. I’m not using any smtp-plugins
2. nothing changed after deactivating all other plugins
3. I don’t know that bc exactly I don’t have access to the server-backend.
4. Yes, I checked the settings at the form and the general settings for sending emails with forminator. I tried different emails, nothing changed.

BUT this morning, I was checking some general settings at the function.php (I did nothing) but I received an Email from Forminator that someone used the form.

I checked the email-log-plugin and there are 2 emails logged.

The first was, that wordpress was updatet to 6.4.3 and the second was the mail by forminator. So I don’t know why but it works again.

Has it started to work fine now? or are you still noticing anomalies regarding this?

If you still have issues then please do share the form export, so that we can check the existing form settings if needed.

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.
