Forminator – missing submissions (not spam)

To be sure, is the concern based on the missing submission IDs? Are there any email notifications where you receive the submissions, but the submissions aren’t listed on the Forminator side?

Asking specifically because the Submission IDs are generic to all forms and not unique to one form. So even if you have multiple forms, the submissions ID will be incremented based on submission on different forms.

So suppose form A has submission ids 1 and 2. And the next submission by the user is on Form B then Form B will have a submission ID 3. The next submission on Form A will have 4 due to that.

Also, do you have any spam plugins? I do see you did mention there isn’t any spam in the DB, however, could we know whether you confirmed by checking whether the missing submission entries aren’t marked as is_spam in the database?

Thanks for the feedback.

We have 2 forms. Between the two of them, neither has the missing submission IDs.
The forms are used for bursary applications, and the concern is that some users have completed the application, but the data was not stored.

I have a spam plugin, AntispamBee, not Akismet. Yes, I checked the db for the is_spam flag. All values are set to 0.

The strange scenario in the db was specifically entries in the wp_frmt_form_entry table, but nothing for those IDs in the meta table.

Sorry, I see I missed some of your questions.
Yes, the concern is based on the missing submission IDs. I’ve looked at both forms we have and neither of these lists the forms submissions for the missing IDs.

There were no email notifications, no.

Thanks for providing further information. That’s odd behaviour; at least an email or the submissions recorded on the database side would determine whether a submission was successful.

Could we know whether the users found any error message while submitting the form or if the form only showed a success message?

Possible to share the page URL where you have the form so that we can also try a couple of test submissions?
