Lately I’m having issues with the Forminator plugin and the Salient theme, more specifically the Nectar slider that is part of the Salient theme.

When the Nectar slider and the Forminator form are present on the page, the form is having some issues with the JS. It only happens if Nectar slider is present. The following error is logged in the console:

jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=3.4.1:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.4.1
jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.0:2 jQuery.Deferred exception: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'html') TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'html')

Plugins, theme and the WP are all updated to the latest versions. For the testing purposes I’ve done a clean WP install, and only the Salient theme (with required plugins) and the Forminator plugin are installed and active.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @budimirdq

I hope you are doing well today.

I was able to see those errors on your site, but I was also able to submit the form without any issue. So it seems this error does not affect submissions to work.

As Salient theme and Nectar slider are 3rd party paid solutions, please email us at: [email protected]

Thanks @wpmudevsupport13, I’ve sent the email.

Yes, submissions do work. But ajax doesn’t, among other JS issues, and after the submission if the page is refreshed the form is submitted again, animated labels with material design don’t work, etc.

    Hello @budimirdq

    Hope you are well!

I noticed the error reported in the console log, however, I was not able to replicate any issues related to AJAX on my test site. Can you please export the form so that we can take a closer look at it and troubleshoot the issue further? There is a possibility the AJAX issue could be specific to the form.

Please check the following document on how to export a form:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.

    Awaiting your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh
