Forminator is not sending the hidden field

Hello, we have the same problem. We fill hidden fields via JS with URL parameters. These are then also available in the form as value in the corresponding hidden fields. When submitting the form, however, they are not saved, only the value of a hidden field is taken over, which is already available as a custom value and not filled by JS. This happens only with version 1.23.3, with 1.22.1 it works.

I tested on my lab and was not able to replicate. Please share an export of the form with us, so that we can check further.

The hidden field that is not being send is the embed post/page title.
As I said, everything was working fine until a few days ago. I saw the plugin has been updated 2 days ago and as @cpmartin said this seems like a new version behavior.

The exported form is not using any JS to hide the field, only using the forminator fields.

Unfortunately, the https://pastebin.com/UzJcXVkt is not available, but I made some tests and found the issue happens when we use the Load from Ajax.

Could you disable this option for a test and verify if the issue is gone?

If so, two possible workarounds are the plugin downgrade or keeping the Load from Ajax disabled.

We reported to our developers and I hope we can implement a fix soon.

sorry for the pastebin, I can correctly open it so I don’t really know what the issue might be.

I understand, thank you for the useful infos. I hope a fix will be released soon because the AJAX loading really improves the page speed and avoids page reloading.

I did disable AJAX for now as I saw in the update changelog that the last update has a lot of security improvements.
