    Hey there..

I really banked on Forminator working in an Elementor pop-up for payment of a product.

Unfortunately it does not work and this is stated in a post 4.5 months ago from @paulbarrett1952.

Apparently the development team were working on it.

Is there any updates or should I decide on another option?

    Thanks in advance…

    Hello @treehuggertravel

    I trust you’re doing well!

The upcoming version of the plugin, with this issue fixed, is at the moment being tested by our QA team. Once the this version will pass all the test it will be released.

In the meantime, please try out Hustle plugin, to embed a form inside a pop-up.

Have a good day and take care!

    Cheers,
    Nastia

    Hey Nastia,

Thanks for the feedback and I think the update is now out although I have not tried with a pop-up.. I went for a new page in a new tab.

Since the recent release an old bug that stopped me using forminator around 12 months ago has appeared again…last time it affected lots of pages, even pages with no forms.

Currently, with any page it is associated with it does not allow drop downs…ceases the loading of the page for them.
This includes the menus, accordion and toggle.
    Are you aware of this?

My site is designed using elementor only widgets and the header menu (main) and the footer are elementor designs too.

An example is on this page (link below) where the header menus drop downs do not work (the drop down navigation arrows do not even appear)

I did have the form on a page with both accordion and toggle. As soon as I removed the form to its own page the accordion & toggle worked immediately.

    Hello @treehuggertravel ,

I’m sorry to hear about this issue.

I can see there is JS error in the browser console on that page with form.
Can you tell me what version of Elementor are you using, what WP and PHP versions?
Also if you install the previous version of the Forminator the issue is gone?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hi Kasia,

I got around to doing all of your requests.

My website is always up to date in regards to plugins, WordPress, my Theme and Elementor.

    I was running PHP 7.0.
This is what I changed first. I upgraded to PHP 7.3 but still no improvement.

I have now rolled back the Forminator plugin to Version 1.10.2. The page is now working.

Therefore the new update 1.11.1 appears to have the bug once again.

Please let me know if using version 1.10.2 will create a security problem when using the stripe payment feature.

    Thanks in advance,
    John ??

    Hi @treehuggertravel

Between 1.20.2 and 1.11.1 releases there was not ufixes/improvements applied to the plugin that would be directly related to Stripe transactions’ security so that it shouldn’t make any difference.

There’s been some improvements made regarding Stripe but mostly addressing some warnings not really related to security.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Thank you Adam…

One quick one regarding Strip. In the calculations field, do you have plans to add a currency symbol option somewhere?

    Hello @treehuggertravel

There’s a little workaround about it found here:
