    Hi @shinde77

    I hope you’re well today!

It’s not related to any specific setting of Forminator but rather to how e-mail systems work in general. It’s difficult to say why these particular e-mails end-up in SPAM folder without insights into spam score and messages that the spam filter (of the receiving inbox) marked the message with.

Without knowing that, I can say that it can be pretty much anything:

    – due to the content of those e-mails
    – due to some issues with site’s domain DNS configuration (related to mail handling)
    – due to discrepancies with mail headers etc…

With that being said, I would suggest starting with checking two fundamental things:

    1. If you have set some custom “From” name and e-mail address headers either in “Forminator -> Settings -> General” and/or in the form’s e-mail notifications configurations (for each notification there’s “Advanced” tab where those settings are) – try removing/changing them to be consistent with actual e-mail from which your site sends notifications

    2. Try switching the site to use SMTP to send e-mails instead of default method; this usually solves 99% of any e-mail delivery issues permanently so it’s worth a try.

You can switch site to use STMP using any popular free plugin such as e.g. our own Branda (which has SMTP module built-in), Easy WP SMTP, POST SMTP Mailer or any similar plugin.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Thanks for your response.
but already I’m using SMTP SendGrid through mail send but it’s received on in SPAM or JUNK.
The recipient could not find the mail sent by forminator form in the inbox, it was in spam, how to change that?

    Hi @shinde77,

I hope you are doing well today!

To ensure emails sent through SendGrid SMTP land in the recipient’s inbox and don’t end up in spam or junk, you need to focus on email deliverability. Here are some steps you can follow:

Proper Mail Settings: Ensure you have entered the right SMTP settings for SendGrid. Incorrect settings can lead to non-deliverability or deliverability in spam folders.

SendGrid IP Allowlisting: Check if your server-IP is allowlisted on SendGrid.

Domain Authentication: Authenticate your domain name with SendGrid. Domain authentication shows email providers that SendGrid has your permission to send emails on your behalf. To give SendGrid permission, you point DNS entries from your DNS provider (like GoDaddy, Hover, CloudFlare, etc.) to SendGrid.

Content: Check the content in your emails. Some words, phrases or methods can trigger spam filters.

Engagement: Ensure the recipient has agreed to receive emails from you. Email providers look at user spam reports to determine whether to place your email into spam folders or promote it to the inbox.

Spam Complaints: If users frequently mark your email as spam, email providers may automatically sort your future emails into spam folders.

Contact your SMTP provider: Your SMTP provider may help you analyze why your emails are going to spam and shape your strategy to avoid this happening in the future.

If you are still experiencing trouble, it’s best to contact SendGrid support directly. They can review your account settings and provide further guidance.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer
