After I submit a post through forminator, I can’t see the uploaded files in the submitted post. I tried code snippets and modify the theme but it doesn’t work.

    Hello @skywarp2 !

Hope you’re having a good day!

In case of the Upload field on post creation forms, the uploaded files will not be automatically attached to the post and won’t be displayed in wp-admin or on the frontend out of the box. Forminator only handles the submission part, as anything besides that depends on the specific setup used and there’s no single way to display the files on sites.

Would you be able to share some additional details as to what you would like to achieve in this case, which snippets you’ve tried etc. so we can check and suggest some possible solutions? If relevant, please share example links so we can check.

    Kind regards,

    Pawe?

    Hi @skywarp2

Please if you are an Admin where will you see the files users upload using forminator.

    Hi @torsen

Hope this message finds you well.

Are you referring to the File Upload field?

If so it does have a feature to submit the files in the Media library:

If you are referring to Post field, this field doesn’t have a file upload feature, in such cases, you might need to check the custom field you are using, still, the files should be uploaded to the Media library when using the WP upload function.

    Best regards,
    Laura

Yes please, am referring to the File Upload field and which section in the settings can I find the “Show files in media library” button.

    Hi @torsen

This is in the Settings tab when adding/editing the field:

    It is at the bottom.

    Best regards,
    Laura

    Great thank you very much.
