I just changed from Contact form 7 to Forminator yesterday but unfortantley I also have trouble with that plugin now.

I’m getting an jQuery is not defined error and the form is not showing up. When I’m logged in as admin it works without any problems.

“Only show up for logged in users” is deactivated and I also tried to deactivate all plugins without any results.

    Hi there @richter1489

I see in your screenshot that you’re using the Autoptimize plugin on your site, and that the jquery-migrate file appears to be minified.

Please try temporarily disabling the option to “Optimize JavaScript Code?” in that plugin, then save and clear caches.

If the form then displays as it should to logged-out users, we’ll see if we can help you tweak the settings to prevent this error. ??

    Cheers!

Disabling “Aggregate all linked JS-files” did help! When adding Forminator to the AO exclude list it did not work so I had to disable the whole option. Now it works ??

    Hi @richter1489

I hope you are doing well.

Usually, we need to exclude the jQuery-core from the optimization, as the plugins depend on this file to be loaded first.

As it is working as expected now, we are marking this ticket as resolved, but feel free to re-open or ping us any time you need.

    Best Regards
