• I purchased the Elite version of this plugin to create some financial calculator forms. They already have financial calculator templates, like mortgage calculator, so I figured I can build other moderately complex financial calculator forms. The first snag I ran into, I reached out to the support team to better understand how to translate excel formulas into Formidable ones. I provided the support team the entire version the calculator in Excel format. Instead, they wanted a narrated video of what I am trying to do. But at the same time, referred me to their community group.

The product itself is decent, but was surprised by the lack of maturity for a product that has been around for a long time. For example, when creating a style template for forms, users are given a field to enter padding specs. All 4 padding values (top, down, left, right) appear in 1 input field separated by space. No description stating which value represents which side. I figured it out via trial and error.

All things considered, a subpar product. The only reason I am sticking it out is because it’s probably the only form builder that can handle relatively complex calculations (calculations that have been in Excel for at least 2 decades).

    Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear your experience with our success team was less than ideal. We pride ourselves on our support and it sounds like we didn’t meet our high standards here. I apologize for that.

regarding the visual styler, we are currently working on a new, redesigned styler that should address the concerns you mentioned. We know it is a bit clunky in its current form.

Thanks for sticking with us and giving us a chance to do better.

    -Steve
