After having an experience to put behind me with Gravity Forms, I was thrilled to find Formidable Pro for custom forms for WordPress. It’s a much better and more flexible product too, and is now extremely popular. Would enjoy seeing a module for it. Surprised that neither of the big custom fields plugins have it as standard.

Sorry, but it’s impossible to add support for every Gravity Forms clone out there, especially ones that hide the majority of functionality behind paywalls.

Thanks for the response. Calling Formidable Pro a “gravity clone” is an insult to WordPress developers. ?? Having used both, it’s quite clear that Formidable Pro is a far better solution than Gravity Forms, which only has the honor of being in the space first.

I discovered Formidable Pro after having a very poor experience with the people at Gravity Forms, who seem to have been less concerned with the quality experience of the WordPress plugin than they are about its revenue potential. That disappointment led me to Formidable Pro, which I discovered is shockingly great and has surpassed what Gravity Forms offered.

And I have no connection whatsoever with Formidable Pro Plugin developers, just a very satisfied client, including numerous clients of mine who prefer it too.

    Hi thelaw,

I just took a gamble and bough formidable pro. I Agree it is a great tool and the good news is I have it working sofar with CFS(bear in mind I have formidable pro for less as 24 hours).

All basic fields should work without problem, the hyperlink field requires some coding, but I got that right. (Here is the hook i used for this)

https://formidablepro.com/knowledgebase/frm_validate_field_entry/ (basically you have to combine 2 fields (url field and description field) into an array and set a hidden field as the final value

Relationships and File Uploads I still have to look into.
