    Hi,

Ive been having a problem where the rich text editor in Formidable Pro (Tiny MCE) doesnt function correctly (just dumps the HTML text rather than visually display the HTML) when a user with a s2member membership level submits a form. Works fine with the WP user level.

It appears to be a incompatibility with s2member as standard WP users work fine – however I`m not sure how to troubleshoot.

    Does anyone have any advice/suggestion?

    I`m running WP 3.9.1, s2member 140423 and Formidable Pro 1.07.07.

  • Maybe the s2Member roles are missing a capability that the editor requires? But it’d be odd, because the s2Member roles are pretty much the Subscriber role plus s2Member level access capabilities. You can compare them with a plugin like User Role Editor.

Thanks for the reply. I created a test account with the same access level and that didnt have any issue! So Ive just recreated the user’s account and it seems to have worked.

Any ideas as to why that would be the case?

Nope, no idea… Maybe the account got corrupted by something in your installation? I don’t know.

But if you have it happen again, try to reproduce it, that helps find what’s behind it. These also help: https://www.s2member.com/kb/common-troubleshooting-tips/

Thanks for the update. I’m glad you sorted it out. Let us know if you have trouble again. ??
