Formidable Forms LIte: Captcha not working in Chrome or Edge

    Hi!

    I have a website running several instances of Formidable Forms Lite, and it seems that the captcha plugin does not display on Chrome and Edge browsers. I am using the reCaptcha. Anyone have any ideas?

    Well, see this is the thing: As soon as I changed to hCaptcha, everything worked again. I don`t have any screenshots, but basically, what happened was that with reCaptcha, the Captcha module inside the form didn′t load at all, on neither Chrome, Edge, Opera (didn′t check Safari). Upon trying to send the form, there was an error message saying that: “Captcha is missing in this form”, and it didn′t get sent. But, like I said, now it is working in all of those browsers, including Safari on iOS. I don′t have Android to test with, but I assume that if it′s working in Chrome… Hope this helps you identify the error.

    i just discover that plugin “CookieYes | GDPR Cookie Consent” could not display the captcha section on my contact form, after deactivating it my Formidable captcha start to work

    @ahtiints Formidable has built-in options for reCaptcha, hCaptcha and Turnstile, so there is no need for an additional plugin: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/captcha/

    Yes, I am also getting same error in my website “Captcha is missing in this form”.

    Did anyone get any resolution of the issue?

    To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Confirm that your domain is correctly added to the list of allowed domains in your Google reCAPTCHA admin console.
    2. Verify that the site key and secret key are entered correctly in your Formidable Forms settings without any typos.
    3. Ensure you are using the correct type of reCAPTCHA keys for the version you have selected (V2 or V3), as they are not interchangeable.
    4. Clear any caching on your website, including disabling caching plugins and checking for external caching services.
    5. Update all plugins and themes to their latest versions to avoid potential conflicts.
