    Wordpress well formatters texts. Here is an example:

    It replaces the dash with a long dash. Quotes of the form “” replace with ??. And all this happens automatically.

    But as for the plugin Yoast SEO. Titles and Descriptions compiled in this plugin are not formatted by WordPress.

    Quotes and dashes are not replaced. What can you do about it? Is there an automatic solution for auto-inserting a long dash, etc.?

  • If you ask on the plugin’s forum, you’d probably get a better answer, but I think those are only displayed in the title tag (shown as the window title). Since they know about special characters, then if they are not converting them, they likely have a reason.
