So, I just purchased and got the sidebar widget setup bu I have to say it looks pretty ugly. I’m sure a lot of that is due to my CSS styling which I can fix, but there are a few things that are definitely not CSS related. For example, I’m choosing to show several products in the sidebar and the widget shows the product image and then the product text to the right of it. The text then wraps down below the image if it’s too long. It doesn’t look good. Another thing is that the “View Product” and “Add to Cart” links are RIGHT next to each other with no space in between. Also, there’s no space or divider between the products so it’s very hard to tell where one product ends and another begins. I’ve attached a screenshot. How can I fix these issues.

I’m a little bummed out that I paid for this product and this is the kind of support I get. I couldn’t find any email support or anything else. I posted this question a week ago and haven’t heard anything. I’d really like a refund if I’m not going to receive any support as this is a product that I can’t even use at this point.

Hi Steve, there are a few email addresses on both of my websites.

The issues you are having are basic CSS issues, you will need to add some styling into your theme to lay it out how you want. Each part of the product display has a class, so you should be able to arrange it how you please.

let me know how you get on

There are actually some default styles you can enable to get you started. In the Mage/WP settings, you can enable them here:

Thank you. Those default styles definitely help. They don’t match my site perfectly, but they at least get me in the ballpark. If I wanted to directly edit these styles, which CSS file would I edit?

If you want to directly edit them, I’d recommend copying the styles across to your own stylesheet, and disabling the checkbox – that way you won’t be affected when upgrading
