Hello, when making new blog posts that I write in Microsoft word, there will be a whole bunch of text issues in the actual post. The text font will be in several different formats, and the spacing will be off.

When I copy to notepad it helps fix most of the formatting problems, but the line spacing is still off. I also have a hard time inserting links as well. When I edit my posts I see the html code for couple of seconds and then just see the text. For this blog I’m using the version previous to the new one. Any plugins that can help with this or suggestions? Take care.

  • hi
iam also facing the same problem i need some one who can help me out please

The Wysiwyg editor used by WordPress is Javascript based (most are). These types of formatting issues are fairly common so it’s not so much a WordPress thing.

I would suggest if at all possible creating your posts inside of WordPress or perhaps disabled the Wysiwyg editor and instead use the visual editor this can be done in the ‘Users’ section of your admin panel.

Ok, how do i find all of the syntax that is used for wordpress, because if i disable the wysiwyg editor then that would mean i have to manually format the text which is fine with me, i just need to know wordpress syntaz so i can style my writing. For example i know that bo is <b></b> but would like a list of them so that i can play around with them. A url to this would be much appreciated.
