    Hi Nancy,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The commands to the browser on how to lay out a table for printing can indeed be achieved by adding some “Custom CSS”. This could also be influenced by the CSS of your theme.
A good overview for that (not directly related to tables) is https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2011/11/24/how-to-set-up-a-print-style-sheet/

However, due to how printing throughout different browsers works, and given that tables have restrictions in the possible layouts (due to their tabular structure), it might be a better choice to create e.g. a PDF version of your table offline (e.g. in Excel) and then offer that for download (and then the user can print the PDF).

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

You’re probably right. Its just easier to make a PDF. That’s what it is designed for!

    thanks

    Hi Nancy,

correct. And that way you can be sure that everybody gets the same style for the printed table.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
