• Could someone have a look at my page, https://www.fureddo.com, then goto the about page, now see how the formatting is all arse-ways on that page? Any ideas why that may be? The only thing i’ve done is play with the photopress plugin, then deactivate it.

    *bump*

Do everyone a favor, please, and do NOT bump your own thread in under 24 hours. You’ve now nicely removed it all by your little own self from the list of “no responses” threads which is what those on other time zones/schedules usually check first thing when they get back here.

Many times, those who have some information about your problem might be a couple of days getting back here. As a totally volunteer effort, while we do try to help as much as possible, not all of us know everything about everything.

In general (and keeping in mind that I’m NOT good with kubrick-based themes, of which I believe yours is one), a dropped sidebar is directly a result of content within either itself or the post section which is too wide for the container.

If that’s not the problem, then perhaps someone else will be along in the next while who will have some more valuable input for you.

But in any case, please read the huge pink sticky at the top of the forum. PLEASE don’t bump any more, until a day has gone by.

    Sorry about that, lesson learned.

Thanks. Check the sidebar thing, and maybe moshu or spencerp (both of whom are really good with theme problems) will be along shortly.

I had just validated the “About” page for you, and it’s spitting out 14 errors.

At that page, you’ll see your errors first, then down below them is the actual SOURCE of the code, to find where your problems reside at. You can click the “blue” linked number by each error, and it takes you right to the line of code or whatever, where the error is. =)

Also, I took a gander at your plugins section:
    https://fureddo.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/

Are you using the photopress perhaps or something, to put your photo in there with? That’s where one of the errors resides as well, I “think”. But since I can’t change your files for you, you can find those errors faster with the link I gave above.. so you can edit them correctly. =)

If moshu knows exactly what’s wrong, then he’ll most likely reply to this as well then. =D I hope this doesn’t confuse you.. =/ But I think the way your photo is placed in there, might be the big culprit of your problems.. =/ Try removing him once and see what happens.. Again, I’m not really a “professional” but I want to be some day LoL!

    spencerp

I’m not really the greatest at helping with theme problems though lol! But I try…I’m even still in the “learning” process of it all lol. =)

Thanks a million for the help spencerp, i’m completely new to all of this, so any help is greatly appreciated. So thank you again, ill have a gander and see if I can fix the problem. Cheers.

Well I tried to remove the photo of myself, and it didn’t fix it. Surely it couldnt be something in the sidebar, if it was something in the sidebar, the main page would have a sidebar problem too right?

if it was something in the sidebar, the main page would have a sidebar problem too right?

Most likely yeah, but I’m not really too familiar with that theme, meaning I never downloaded it, installed it and tinkered with it.. =/

You could always try and make up another About-Me page again, since you’re using just domain.com/blog/about you’ll have to make one up like: domain.com/blog/about-me/ or something similiar.

And then try and recreate the page again once, while taking notes of when or if it messes up. This way you’ll know the culprit for sure..

Looking through the source files again, I noticed ALOT of these being used, for what I’m not sure.

    # <div align="left" />
    # <div align="left" />
    # <div align="left" />
    # <div align="center" />

All in a group like that, doesn’t seem right to me.. =/

Ill have a shot at that, and see if it makes a difference, thanks again.
