Formatting Issues on IE8

  • I have recently taken over a site that has wordpress on some of its pages.

    On all wordpress pages – when pressing the IE8 compatibility button. The content will shift to the right of my header bar.

    Is this a common issue or is this something someone can advise me upon.

    Site is Bright Green

  • You could start by sorting out the validation errors on the blog. If you still have problems when the blog is valid, consider conditional comment CSS.

    I have sorted out Validation on Blog Page

    Before I look at conditional comment CSS – the page only seems to affected on IE8 compatibility mode only – does this roll the page back to IE7 settings?

    Contents go outside the border. Please help to solve this issue

    update: the formatting issue comes in my homepage, inside pages are working fine.
