I am evaluating the free version of QSM to create quizzes and while the functionality is pretty robust, there are 3 issues I have encountered that limit its effectiveness:

    1. There seems to be a formatting glitch with the program. Any text between two dollar signs displays as italics with all spaces between letters removed. This occurs with questions and answers. For example: “$1,000 that will be received in 8 years or $800” displays as “1,000thatwillbereceivedin8yearsor800“”. You can see what I mean at https://frickcpa.com/my-quiz-page/

    2. The images I use in my answers are not displaying properly. The image size is too small and multiple images will bleed into the next answer. Are there any tricks for controlling the size and position of images that are used into answers in a quiz?

    3. Finally, when i click on “View Quiz” I get the message “The page can’t be found.” The quiz page will display correctly on the site, I just can’t preview my work while developing. Any idea why the preview does not work?

    Thanks
    Dave

I was able to resolve the “View Quiz” issue by deactivating all plug-ins and switching to the twenty-twenty-one theme. Also the images are no longer bleeding over into other questions.

However, the formatting problem with any text between two dollar signs remains. This looks like a real bug in the application. It is a problem with both answers and questions.

Also I ran into a problem with trying to use the “image” answer type. When I add media from the library to an “image” answer it displays on the page as the non clickable URL: https://frickcpa.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/MyImageFile.png

Why doesn’t it just display the image?

    Hi @david2003

Regarding the formatting issue let me discuss this with the technical team.
Regarding the image issue can you please share the screencast with us? The link which you send is not working.

If you can share a screencast with us that will help us to identify the issue.

    Regards,
    Sumit

    Hi @david2003

Regarding formatting issues please try using a backslash before the dollar sign.
For ex. “\$1,000 that will be received in 8 years or \$800”

Do let me know if you need more help.

    Regards,
    Sumit
