Formatting Custom Date Field

  • I am trying to format a custom date field to read MONTH DAY, YEAR e.g. MAY 16, 2016 instead of yyyymmdd.

    I tried following a few tutorials but my programming knowledge beyond HTML/CSS is very limited.

    Currently the code looks like this:
