• I am having issues with my table formatting and editing. After saving a new table, the formatting completely changed, and I lost the ability to edit the cells.

  • Hi, Yes, this is a known issue that a lot of people are experiencing, the team are looking into it, although there’s no timeline as to when it will be resolved.

@aasynagogue are you still experiencing these issues after upgrading to 1.6.1?

If you are still on an older version, please update the plugin to 1.6.1.

Hello @permafrost06 ! In my case exactly the same problem. If you save the table and exit it, it loses formatting and the ability to edit text. Plugin version 1.6.1

Please try a different table (that is not broken) and let us know if that breaks too.

Please also share the html code of the broken tables. Let us know if you need help with how to do it. You may also share a link to a page that contains a broken table.

@permafrost06 Right now I have everything working as it should right now. Yay! Thank you!

Hi, I have got 1.6.1 installed and I’m still unable to edit any of my tables, and the formatting is still showing with gaps in between cells.

I have however created a new table as a test and I’m able to edit that and the formatting is ok.

@poultonfc please try loading a broken table into the editor and saving it again. Reload the editor after saving. If that doesn’t work, can you please share with us a link to a page which has a broken table?

Thanks, but I’ve managed to recreate the tables and they’re working and editable now.

@poultonfc that’s great news. Sorry for any inconveniences we might have caused.

@permafrost06 @protibimbok Unfortunately, I am still having issues. When I save the table, it undoes the table sizing and unmerges merged cells. I will try creating a table from scratch and see if I run into the same issues.

P.S.—How do I share HTML code?
P.P.S—I am also unable to import a table (from a CSV file). The loading arrow just spins round and round forever, but nothing imports.

UPDATE: I created a table from scratch, and the same thing happened. Saved it, left the page, came back—size setting were reverted and merged cells were unmerged. Let me know how to share the HTML code.

@aasynagogue please use the table in a page and share the link to the page with us

P.S: Make sure you’re using the latest version: 1.6.1

Same issue here with a PRO license. Sent an email yesterday and waiting for reply.

@99mario can you please link us to a page that has a broken table? If you could do that, we can help you solve your issues as soon as possible.

@permafrost06 It is not published since it is broken. I sent an email to support yesterday with a screen recording that shows the issue.
