Format of permanent links

  • In your experience do you prefer

    yoursitename + words of the post title

    or,

    yoursitename + category name + words of the post title

    for the permanent link of each post? (or any other format you use) and can you say why?

    and lets say i go with a certain format and then chnage it… the previous links to posts will no longer work?

    It’s entirely up to you, neither is better or worse. ??

    If you change the permalink structure, the old links will redirect to the new links.
