are you using firefox? I have the same issue while trying to use firefox. Works fine in chrome.

Yes and no. I use firefox, but users are usung Chrome, neither browser works

If i downgrade the PHP to Version 7.4.33, it works. PHP 8.0.29 does NOT

@takayukister looks like a PHP mismatch issue, PHP 8.0.29 is the current version but CF7 only works on PHP 7

@wiresplus Is this article (https://contactform7.com/2023/05/26/about-our-wordpress-php-support-policy/#more-48298) your source for that? I’m going crazy trying to figure out why this isn’t working anymore, and we did just upgrate to PHP 8. I have the same problem after moving a website to another server where PHP 8 is mandatory. After a long search I discovered (?) only mailforms with checkboxes in them provoke the endless spinning wheel.

It’s PHP 8.1 on the server. The “Contact Form DB” plug-in (v 2.10.36 – Michael Simpson) copies all fields into the MySL database, but the checkbox field remains empty and the mails are not sent.

The code in the form is exactly the same as before. Workaround until now = abandon checkboxes and place a textarea field instead. It’s not the same but at least the form can be filled in and sent.
