Form won't save after editing and clicking 'Save Changes'

I was able to create all of the forms and implement them. There was a field I wanted to make a change to and while editing the form I will remove a field or rename it. When I click on ‘save changes’ it flashes the screen to save and then does nothing else. It doesn’t save the changes regardless of what I do.
