Form with attachments gets stuck loading

    Hello,

    Some users on a Client’s site are reporting that the form gets hung loading on submit, and never goes through. Here is one such report:

    “I’ve tried to submit my time sheet a dozen times, but the site just “loads” and never submits the page. I waited over a half hour while t tried to submit and nothing every happened. ”

    I have done some testing myself and cannot replicate the issue. This happens with some users, but not all.

    I’m getting a notification from the Caldera plugin regarding the PHP version on the site, if that may have to do with this issue:

    “You are using a VERY out of date version of PHP: 5.4.32. Caldera Forms 1.7 will require PHP Version 5.6 or later. ”

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for using Caldera Forms. I’m sorry you’re having this issue.

    I think you are saying that form submission starts but doesn’t complete. This would typically indicate that your site encountered an error while processing the form. If you could please log errors using the method described in this post — https://calderaforms.com/2016/05/wordpress-debug-logging/ — and if you need help troubleshooting
    You should open a support ticket at calderaforms.com/support.

    Caldera Forms Pro has most of this error logging built in. When Caldera Forms Pro users submit support requests, the first thing we do is check those logs, if they have the client plugin active we are typically able to help them right away.
