• Hello,

I read another thread where someone had trouble with a plugin conflict or theme conflict while trying to use the Contact Form 7 plugin to send mail via smtp. I am having trouble with the wheel spinning and no email being received when trying to use Contact form 7. I had my support team of my host apply the correct settings to the contact form for SMTP sending.

When a form is submitted on my site the wheel spins and it never stops. It times out the reCaptcha.

I have WP-Mail-SMTP installed and it is send out test emails flawlessly. For some reason Contact Form 7 doesn’t seem to be sending them out even though configured correctly to the best of our collective knowledge.

Any help here would be great as we clearly have eliminated the possibility that it is a plugin or theme conflict.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    01. Have you called wp_head() and wp_footer(), and they are in header.php and footer.php, respectively ?

    02. What is the hosting you are using CF7 ? Ex: Godaddy

It is better to provide the site URL, so people can check into it.

    Thanks

Clue: I think slight html “errors” in your form apparently can cause this. That happened to me a while back. check your html.
