    Hi,

Concerns custom form validation as described here:
    Custom Form Validation

The error type as I understand (and tested) it:
The example describes to validate fields and throwing an error type ‘invalid’ fields. Additional on error it fires the DOM-Event ‘wpcf7invalid’. Is it correct?

    Question:
Is it possible to validate a field throwing with an error type like ‘spam’ so it fires the DOM-Event ‘wpcf7invalid’?

    Thx for help.

    Best regards

    Great. Thx
Exactly what I was looking for … ??

    Aditional Questions:

On the page is a technique named: ‘Logging spam submission’. Where do I find the log files (place like dir/file or db:table/field would be helpful) or (better) is there also a complete developer description how to access the logs (without additional module like flamingo)?

    Once more:
    Thx for help.

    Best regards

There is no log file, and logs are stored in the database only when Flamingo or another logging module is working.
